SAY HELLO
Please get in touch if you would like to enquire about my wedding photography or just say hello!
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland but available worldwide.

Still not over just how gorgeous Lauren & Finlay’s wedding at @wintoncastle was last month — a true feast for the eyes and the heart.
From the pink dining room of dreams to their bold, joy-filled colour palette, every detail felt like it had stepped out of a painting. It was romantic, playful, and completely them.
What made it even more special? Capturing it on film. The grain, the tones, the texture brought such warmth and depth to a day already full of feeling.
I feel so lucky to work with couples who not only trust my creative vision, but fully lean into it. Lauren & Finlay, you were a dream.

Sam & Tom photographed #onfilm & digital Still not over this magical engagement shoot at one of my favourite places in Scotland — St Abbs. A proper hidden gem on the coast, full of wild beauty, dramatic cliffs, and the softest evening light.
Tom called me literally just after he’d proposed to Sam (like, just after) to see if I was free for a last-minute shoot. Of course I said yes!
We wandered the cliffs, soaked up the sea air, and made some magic. It was relaxed, windswept, and full of love.
If you’re dreaming of your own engagement session somewhere a little off the beaten path, I’m your gal.
Let’s go somewhere beautiful.

A love story from all over the world ✨ photographed #onfilm and digital.
These two first crossed paths on the Kiwi Experience bus in New Zealand back in 2015. It wasn’t until years later that their story really began. After living in London together, they moved back to Wellington in 2022, where they’ve built a life by the sea (with plenty of adventures in between).
Harry proposed on Rabbit Island—first thing in the morning, completely catching Mariya off guard. Just them, the waves, and the best kind of surprise.
Their wedding day was full of meaning: old stone walls, soft natural light, and bright colour woven in to honour of Mariya’s Pakistani heritage—including the most stunning red wedding dress and gorgeous henna tattoos.
It was an absolute joy and honour to capture their beautiful day 🎞️✨

Vintage romance in the heart of Edinburgh Old Town #onfilm
Huge love to the team of creatives who brought beautiful ideas, details and a whole lot of talent to the styled shoot I put together at @riddlescourt @shbtweddings in April.
I pulled together the concept and all the vendors in the space of a few weeks and I’m so delighted how everything came together.
I’m just so obsessed with everything and I was squealing when I got the film scans back from the lab!
I can’t wait to share more from the editorial made for lovers of artful authentic love stories.

Jordyn & Rick on the Isle of Skye #onfilm (35mm & 120)
I was fortunate enough to spend a lovely day last month with Jordyn and Rick, capturing their love amidst the rugged beauty of the Quiraing, graced with perfect weather.
Rick`s heartfelt proposal to Jordyn took place at Acadia National Park`s Cadillac Mountain, set against the warm hues of a sunset. This magical moment laid the foundation for their dramatic wedding photos, embodying the wild beauty of Skye.
I`m thrilled to be returning to the Isle of Skye later this month for another beautiful elopement ✨🎞️

A few of the film frames from Lizzie & Ewan’s sun-soaked wedding at Guardswell Farm ✨🎞️
There’s something about seeing the day through the soft grain and rich tones of 35mm and medium format film that just feels right. It suits them—warm, intentional, full of love and thought and unfiltered joy.
They brought their people together from Scotland, Switzerland and Australia for a celebration that was all heart. Secondhand treasures, seasonal sharing food, wildflowers everywhere, and a ceilidh that had everyone spinning around on the dance floor (I’m so obsessed their first dance song, “Take My Hand” by @skerryvore—which made it extra special, as we had that as a reading at my own wedding 🥹).
It was one of those days that leaves a mark. Honest, joyful, and filled with the kind of magic that film captures so beautifully.

Caleb & John on Kodak Gold 35mm & 120 film from their engagement photoshoot back in April. I loved capturing the softness of their connection at the amazing Roslin Castle and Gunpowder Mills. Soooo can’t wait for their wedding next April!!

✨ Creating wedding photography work from inspiration outside of wedding photography ✨
One of the biggest influences on how I approach a wedding day is how it feels. I’m always chasing light, mood, space, and setting—capturing not just what happened, but the atmosphere of it all.
I look for unique pockets of light. I’m drawn to the texture of a place, the feeling it holds. I notice those quiet, authentic moments that pass in a blink but say everything. My mind pulls from the mystique of film noir, the softness and drama of old master paintings, and that dreamy, enchanted feeling I first felt watching The Secret Garden as a little girl.
Creating from a place of personal, instinctive inspiration is where the real magic lives.
For years, I tried to “be a wedding photographer”—to fit the mould. But the work that truly resonates has always come from embracing who I am: a storyteller, a daydreamer, an artist with one foot in the darkroom and the other somewhere between memory and magic.
Swipe through to see the heart of my visual signature—how I see, feel, and translate a wedding day into art.
Ps. I promise to do a catch up of recent work on the grid soon. All of my weddings and photoshoots recently have been such a dream I’ve not known where to start! You might spy a few new images in this post!

I’ve had an incredibly busy and magical few weeks since the end of April. The Scottish weather has shone and I’m just so grateful that I get to call this my job.
Where I am now once felt like an impossible dream. I managed to remember to film a few highlight clips on my osmo on almost every shoot! Thank you to @letsdoitcreative for the bts from the styled shoot!
✨Starting with my styled shoot at @riddlescourt @shbtweddings

P U B L I S H E D W O R K
Delighted to say I’ve got 3 images I the current print and online edition of @tietheknotscotland . There’s 2 of my film photos from elopements and some elopement advice from me in the photography section. Erin and John’s gorgeous day in Glencoe plus Nicole and Neil’s rainy Isle of Skye elopement.
Plus one images in the venues section for @hotelduvin Edinburgh.
It’s always a joy to see my work in print in this digital age ✨

Just me over here forever staying in my lane and not listening to trends. For me my photography is about leaning into my inspiration as an artist and creating work that speaks to me and the unique people my clients and couples are. All shot #onfilm
