Stylish Scottish Borders Micro Wedding at The Hoebridge – Steph & Lewis
Stylish Scottish Borders Micro Wedding Photography at The Hoebridge – Steph & Lewis
Steph and Lewis met 11 years ago when they were flatmates during their masters whilst studying in Wales. Splitting their time between Aberdeen and Arran their love grew long distance before they both moved to Newcastle to finally be together.
They chose a relaxed micro wedding at The Hoebridge in Gattonside, close to Galashields and Melrose for their wedding day. I loved the modern scandi vibes of the venue with beautiful natural light.
The day started with preparations at the romantic Thirlestaine Castle, with a gorgeous and emotional first look at the old stables entrance. I loved Steph’s green Vampires Wife falconetti wedding dress paired with Valentino shoes and a pearl zara bag. They had Steph’s uncle’s classic cars for their wedding transport including a stunning lime MG midget which I was so obsessed with.
The Hoebridge was decorated with stunning florals from Feathergrass Florals with modern peach and pink tones. For their couple photos we made the most of the stunning wedding car and also took a wander to the historic chain bridge.
They finished the day with dancing at The Hoebridge followed by nightcaps back at Thirlestaine Castle.
