Glencoe Couples Photoshoot – Casey & Michael

Casey and Michael booked me for an adventurous Glencoe couples photoshoot whilst on their honeymoon in Scotland. Every time I photograph in Glencoe and the Scottish highlands it’s always completely different weather-wise, this time it was a sunny but crisp day with hardly any clouds in the sky.

“Loraine is just so genuine and sweet! She planned the whole day to make sure that my husband and I saw the beautiful Scottish highlands and the photos she captured are some of my absolute favorites! Shes just a gem :)”

Buachaille Etive Beag & Bidean nam Bian

After meeting in Glencoe I took Casey and Michael around some of my favourite spots in the area. We started off at the Buachaille Etive Beag trail with views over the surrounding peaks of Glencoe and a well-defined path. Heading then to the main 3 Sisters of Glencoe viewpoint with a walk down the Bidean nam Bian trail and off the path to a beautiful riverside.

Hagrids Hut & Glenfinnan Vicduct

Casey and Michael are massive Harry Potter fans, so we then headed to Clachaig Gully to find the Hagrids Hut location from the Harry Potter films. Although the hut was removed after filming it’s still a magical location with views over a beautiful loch. Our second spot was up at the Glenfinnan Viaduct, arriving after the steam train had been by mid-afternoon we had the area to ourselves for photos.

Glencoe Lochan

Before heading home we made one last stop at Glencoe Lochran, a lovely trail around the loch with woodland areas and stunning views of the surrounding hills.
