Sunrise in Venice with Camille & Danny. When getting up at 5am is absolutely worth it to get photos whilst the streets are empty. The early morning peace and quiet before the hustle and bustle of the city.

The best photo spots for wedding photography in Venice.

We explored the beautiful architecture starting at St. Mark’s Square and the gondolas at Riva degli Schiavoni. We walked around the streets and found lots of stunning bridges like Ponte de Canonica that made a perfect backdrop for photos.

We began to walk back down the designer shopping streets and by a walk over Ponte dell’Accademia with a stop for photos. The pier point looking over the water near Fondation Pinault was also stunning with the sunrise behind. I would highly recommend also exploring the areas around Campo Santo Stefano which we didn’t manage to do, but I had location scouted the day before.

For my stay in Venice I booked the amazing La Residenza 818. The hotel was stunning and I had a beautiful suite with views over the waterfront. Venice completely blew me away with the architecture, winding streets and the cute bridges over the river. Definitely the perfect city for a romantic elopement.
