I always get asked about what candid photos are, and what is documentary wedding photography. It’s basically just taking photos of stuff as it happens with no posing – which is a win if you hate being photographed.

I like to work in a relaxed, creative and modern documentary style, telling the story of your day naturally and truthfully.  To me photography is all about telling a story, capturing the emotion of weddings and creating memories. Those in-between natural moments and reactions from guests are what makes your day and really tells the story of what happened.

This is also referred to as documentary photography and what I spend most of my day doing. Most of the day you won’t even noticed me like a photography ninja or will have forgotten about my cameras. Be yourselves, relax, enjoy yourselves….the laughter and smiles and all the emotional moments will shine through in your photos.
