Growing up in Scotland Skye was one of those places I had always wanted to visit but had never managed to get to. When Elisabeth and Matt asked me to travel up to photograph an elopement photoshoot for them at the top of the stunning Old Man of Storr, I jumped at the chance of an adventure.

We met up the day before in Edinburgh to plan out the trip before travelling up the following day and meeting at the bottom of the hill. It was a rainy, misty Scottish day and we climbed as far up to the peak of the hill as we were able to due to the misty conditions. I love the atmosphere the mist gave us on the shoot, especially when a rain shower came in and we were right in the middle of the rain and wind.

I was totally blown away by the views and atmosphere in Old Man of Storr and it was truly special to join Elisabeth and Matt on one of the first of many adventures together as husband and wife. We shared an amazing meal together by the fireplace after the shoot which was totally bliss!
